I’ve never glowed so brightly- my skin is smooth, my eyes are clear, I have incredible amounts of energy, and I feel light, vibrant, and radiant! On top of all that, I have a clear mind, am realizing my limitless potential and purpose on this planet, and have found happiness. Have you ever experienced an entire day of appreciation for life, for nourishment, for friends and family, for breath? Imagine experiencing that every day for the rest of your life. And the best part is that the way to reach that point of infinite bliss couldn’t be easier. There are no textbooks to teach you, no expensive medications to take, and absolutely nothing to hinder your accessibility to achieving this higher level of consciousness. The one, simple act to incorporate into your life right now is to eat more raw, living foods. It’s that easy! Activating yourself on a physical level will allow for mental and emotional growth, paving the way to consciousness awareness and spiritual enlightenment.

I wasn’t always glowing. I spent the first 23 years of my existence on the SAD (Standard American Diet) program like everyone else I knew. Much of the food I ate came out of boxes, cans or drive-through windows, had the nutrition processed out of it, included refined grains and sugars, red meat, high saturated and hydrogenated fats, and very little of the good stuff- complex carbohydrates, fiber, fresh fruit and vegetables. I watched most of my family members struggle with disease and illness- cancer, diabetes, obesity, anemia, depression, anxiety, Parkinson’s disease, alcoholism, drugs and anorexia. For a long time it seemed like sickness was an inevitable part of every person’s life. I’m writing this to tell you that it’s not.

I remember the day I demanded a change. The alarm blared incessantly, begging me to get the morning started. I lacked all enthusiasm for anything, and it showed, manifesting itself physically- the circles under my eyes were darker than ever, my skin was red and blotchy, my hair dull and frizzy, and I was constantly bloated. I slouched around the office all day, downing cup after cup of coffee to muster whatever energy I could. Sadly, the one thing that I looked forward to was lying on the couch, eating takeout and watching mindless television after work. My creative energies had dwindled, my memory lagged, my mind raced about unceasingly, and I was always fighting off colds. Depression had snuck in as a normal component of my everyday existence. Nothing excited me; a numbing dullness was enveloping my life. I wanted to feel vibrant and alive, I wanted excitement, and I knew I needed to change something, but what? All at once it became shockingly obvious: the things I was putting into my body. Determined to heal myself nutritionally, I began researching cleanses. What I found, however, was much more than a three-day fix- it was a lifestyle that would change my existence forever: Raw Food. Just like that, everything clicked right into place. The answer to my dis-ease was plain and simple: eat vibrant, living foods in order to feel vibrant and alive.

What is raw food?
At its most basic level raw food refers to any food that is uncooked and unadulterated. Nothing is canned, processed, refined, pasteurized, chemically treated, or has the life cooked out of it. Food is not heated above 116 degrees so as to retain its vitamins, minerals and enzymes, nutrients that are essential for every human body.

Who are raw foodists?
Two main classes of distinction arise here: raw food vegans and raw food omnivores. Raw food veganism is based on a vegetarian diet that excludes all animal products such as meat, eggs and dairy. This plant-based diet consists of unprocessed, untreated and uncooked fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds, sprouted legumes and grains. Raw omnivores, on the other hand, consume raw animal-derived foods in addition to plant-based foods. They eat non-pasteurized and non-homogenized dairy (milk, cheese, yogurt, etc.) and raw eggs, meat and fish.

What percentage of raw food must a person’s diet consist of in order to be considered raw? Some say it’s 75%. Others say at least half. Extreme raw foodies tout 100%. But there’s one important factor that all these percentages are missing- what’s best for the individual. Raw food is about health, not ego. Trying to fit a label can easily distract us from our main goal of achieving optimal health. That said, don’t overwhelm yourself with counting percentages that don’t matter. See what feels good for you. Experiment. Wherever you are with your diet, the one thing to know is that consuming more raw, living nutrients is always a good thing.

Raw food calls for fresh produce, bringing to light the importance of local, seasonal foods. Eating local and organic guarantees the most nourishing, nutrient dense food to promote optimal absorption and assimilation, while simultaneously promoting a cleaner, greener planet. Mother Nature provides us with all the nourishment we need in its perfect form. However, the twentieth century birthed a revolution in the food industry with the advent of corporate giants like Nabisco, Campbell’s, General Mills and Hershey’s that took fresh, nutrient-dense foods and mutated them into genetically modified, microwavable, instant, mass-produced foodstuffs. The focus was on convenience rather than nutrition, drastically reducing foods’ nourishing properties and consequently keeping consumers from reaching optimal health. Promising your body organic plant-based foods is the answer to our modern world’s self-inflicted nutritional dilemma; fresh, organic food is essential to eliminate pesticides, herbicides, synthetic fertilizers, artificial additives and loads of harmful and toxic chemicals from your diet and the earth. For raw omnivores, wild caught fish (as opposed to farm raised) and grass-fed, free range animal products are sought after to avert unnatural hormones, antibiotics, E. coli infection, and a list of other undesirable parasites and diseases from entering the body. With bodies composed of 75% water, ensuring clean, purified water is another priority, both for drinking and food preparation. Many raw foodists also recognize that ionized “alkaline” water is essential for proper hydration, detoxification, neutralization of free radicals, and balance in the body’s pH level.

The Trouble with Cooked Foods
Raw food does not necessarily equal cold food. However, according to most raw food advocates, heating food above 116 degrees strips it of its life force- vital nutrients, minerals, vitamins and enzymes. This temperature is the point at which cooking food rapidly breaks down its chemical structure. Vitamins A, C and D, for instance, are all destroyed by such heat. Cooking depletes essential enzymes, requiring our bodies to work much harder for digestion and assimilation. Enzymes are necessary for almost every function of our bodies, from metabolism and energy supply to detoxification and excretion. Eating cooked and processed foods forces our digestive organs to go into overdrive to produce its own enzymes from a limited source of white blood cells- leukocytes- which are meant to fight off disease and illness. This phenomena called digestive leukocytosis is the defense mechanism of a body responding to infectious and toxic stress introduced by food consumption. In other words, our immune systems react to cooked foods entering the bloodstream the same way it would to foreign pathogens. Since our white blood cells are preoccupied with our food, we are more susceptible to illness. This should raise a few eyebrows- isn’t food meant to be nourishing? Why is our body reacting as if it’s harmful?  Most foods in their natural, raw state, on the other hand, have the exact type and amount of enzymes necessary for their proper digestion and optimal assimilation, in turn promoting higher levels of energy, a pure and clean physical body, and mental clarity.

Most foods when cooked produce carcinogenic by-products. Advanced Glycation End Products, or AGEs, are harmful toxic chemicals produced as a result of improper bonding between sugars and proteins or lipid (fat) molecules during cooking. Frying, grilling, baking, broiling and roasting foods without water or other liquids, especially meats and items high in fat or sugar, produces AGEs. Think French fries, pot roast, barbecued foods, roasted nuts and anything microwaved. Food manufacturers have been incorporating synthetic AGEs into processed foods as flavor enhancers in recent decades, overwhelming SAD lives with these nasty chemicals, which, as the acronym suggests, prematurely age humans, encourage diabetes, cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, obesity, and promote cardiovascular disease (Peppa MD, Uribarri MD, and Vlassara MD). There is no such thing as AGEs in raw food.

According to the National Cancer Institute, other health damaging by-products like heterocyclic amines (HCAs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are formed when animal products such as pork, beef, fish, eggs and poultry are barbecued, fried, smoked or grilled. PAHs are also present in pollution and tobacco smoke. These chemicals can damage DNA, are known to produce cancer in animals and may be carcinogenic to humans as well. Acrylamide is another harmful chemical formed in foods that have been heated above 120 degrees, particularly starchy foods (Food and Agriculture Organization/World Health Organization Consultation). This means that potato chips, pastries and breakfast cereals are often culprits of an increased risk of cancer.

This is not to say that we should all forgo cooked foods. As stated above, being 100% raw is not for everyone; every individual requires a different diet. Many boiled, steamed and pressure cooked foods still provide exceptional nutrition. Furthermore, some people are not equipped well enough, digestively speaking, to deal with a diet of exclusively raw food; cooking breaks down foods’ molecular structure and begins the digestive process before it even reaches the mouth. In some cases foods must be cooked in order to be properly digested, such as with potatoes. Other starchy foods like beans are much more readily digested after cooking than soaking and sprouting alone. Some foods even carry deadly microorganisms that require cooking before consumption, such as cassava. Many health benefits of phytochemicals are lessened by heat, while others are increased. Phytochemicals are nutrients, such as beta-carotene, that occur naturally in fruits and vegetables. Often there is a nutritional trade-off involved. For example, cooking tomatoes depletes them of vitamin C, but raises their antioxidant activity and lycopene content, which has been linked to a lower risk of cancer and heart attacks (Subramanian). Carrots produce indole, an organic compound that helps kill precancerous cells, when boiled. However, this same heat depletes polyphenols from carrots, which have antioxidant properties and are known to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and cancer (Subramanian). While all this nutritional information may seem overwhelming, it can all be boiled down to this: Everyone can benefit from more raw, leafy green vegetables and fresh fruits to alkalize the body, prevent disease, slow the aging process, and increase longevity.

Raw Food and Holistic Health
For many, raw food goes beyond diet as part of a holistic approach to life that considers all aspects of a person (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) in order to embrace balanced health and wellness. These raw foodists also consider the intake of things like medications, vitamins, and supplements. For instance, prescription drugs are avoided as they are often toxic and incite a systemic effect that negatively impacts one’s physiology in a hundred different ways. Think about the back of a magazine ad for a prescription drug and the babbling list of side effects it exposes you to. Raw foodists understand that too often do pharmaceuticals only treat the symptoms, not the cause, and create new health problems in the process. Without these carnal distractions, we are able to open up our third eye and ground ourselves onto the path of ascension into consciousness awareness.

In short, our bodies are biofeedback mechanisms meant to be listened to. Raw or not, it is best to eat according to what feels good for you. We are multi-faceted beings composed of many layers and dimensions, all of which require attention, love, and nourishment. Incorporating more raw foods into your meals today will immediately show you the benefits of a pure, whole foods diet and may even cure many of your discomforts, improve your energy, metabolism and mood, allow for spiritual awakening and overall well-being. There’s even a saying for it: “you are what you eat.”

Part One of this two part series presented the premise that the nitrogen chemistry of our DNA and particularly our nervous system lies at the basis of awareness, sensation and desire. Furthermore, the quality of dietary nitrogen is enormously influential for our consciousness. Providing nitrogen of sufficient quality to sustain and especially to elevate our consciousness requires plants catching carbon in sufficient abundance to feed nitrogen fixing microbes so that complex aminos rather than crude nitrogen salts form the basis of our diet. In brief dietary support for raising consciousness depends on catching carbon.

Well integrated, high energy agricultural ecosystems provide plants nitrogen in complex forms that support clarity, refinement and integrity. This in turn supports animal and human telepathy, clairvoyance and telekinesis. Establishing such soil, plant and animal ecosystems requires fine tuning fertility, soil balance and cropping to catch sufficient carbon for nitrogen fixation. And, we know we are on the right track when the food we grow develops an inspiring savouriness.

Artificial fertilisers, synthetic nitrogen and monocropping do the opposite, depleting soil carbon to feed a crude, selfish consciousness that wastes valuable resources and fails to consider the greater good. Food so grown leaves a lot to be desired in terms of taste and smell.

Using insights into how plants grow along with fertilisers we can make at home and on self-sufficient, diversified farms we can get on the right track. Then our noses and tongues will help us fine tune getting nitrogen right.

At present we cannot rely on the food in supermarkets, hotels and restaurants for dietary nitrogen that improves psychic clarity and integrity of consciousness. For the most part we have to grow our own or find growers who know what to do. Of course, in an uncertain world where food distribution is increasingly subject to interruption and contamination, growing our own food or supporting those in our local community who do may be the our best option anyway.

To get nitrogen right in our home gardens and local farms we can make such liquid fertility boosters as mentioned in Part One—Vermiwash derived from earthworm compost and Potassium Silicate Watering Solution, which can feed and strengthen the soil life surrounding plant roots so that it delivers complex nitrogen.

From this simple beginning we can progress to better and better understanding of how plants grow so they wake us up with their quality. This takes fine tuning, and not all soils or crops need the same things nor are all homemade fertilisers appropriate or needed in the same amounts.

Why Be Concerned?

Aside from how actively supporting our own food ecology would ground our environmental awareness and attune our respect for nature as a whole, there is the broader issue of realizing our human potential. As a result of self-awareness, humans strive to become more than what they are. Even though materialism assumes that our existence just happened, there is this undeniable striving. As for those who believe in a higher reality, they knowingly seek inspiration, enlightenment and greater realization of who and what they are and can be. How to find a path toward more highly informed, integrated and energised existence?

Walking our talk in the world of substance requires abundant energy. When it comes to our force of personality or strength of character—that which we call guts—where does this come from if not the food we eat and the air we breathe, united by the guidance of our souls? From the viewpoint of materialism such force can only come from things—including warmth and light—that we take in as nourishment to our bodies. On the other hand, those who believe they incarnate from higher realms must ask themselves what the realm of substance offers.

With this in mind, let us explore the premise that the amino acid chemistry of nitrogen provides the basis not only for genetic memory, as with DNA, but also for awareness, sensation, desire and intelligence. Building a bridge from thought to action depends on our dietary nitrogen and its versatile interaction with the entire spectrum of elements between the opposite poles of silica and lime.

Lime, Silica and Body Chemistry

On the one hand the lime polarity is associated with muscles, bones, cell nuclei and DNA—where DNA’s four amino acids are all ring compounds. On the other hand, the silica polarity is associated with skin, hair, nails, transport vessels and cell walls where the three sulphur containing amino acids are found. Studies using photo multiplier techniques show the amino acids at this silica polarity emit and absorb photons at the rate of billions per second in a process called biophotonic luminescence. It is thought that this siliceous luminescence is what unites our cells and coordinates their activity so that our bodies behave as a single organism despite the wide variation between cells and their genetic expressions.[1]

Looking at bodily organisation as a dynamic interplay of photons, it seems we are luminous beings co-ordinating our various silica, nitrogen and lime activities via biophotonic luminescence. However, from the viewpoint of substance rather than process we are carbon based life forms filled largely with water which contains a smattering of silica, nitrogen, lime and trace elements.

The Biochemical Sequence

A study of plants and their life processes reveals a hierarchy of what must function well enough for the next thing and the next thing to work properly. When we improve such things as soil fertility the first elements in this hierarchy must be addressed before other issues later in the chain can be improved.

First above all, sulphur is the catalyst for life processes to connect with the chemistry of carbon.[2] It should be no surprise that our sulphur containing amino acids are found in our cell walls, connective tissues and transport vessels where amorphous fluid silica works via biophotonic luminescence with nitrogen, carbon and water.

Once life processes join up with carbon, the biochemical sequence starts with boron stirring up crystal lattice silicon to create fluidity. Only a trace of boron is needed to create sap pressure sufficient to transport nutrients such as calcium and amino acids from the soil foodweb to the plant sites where growth occurs.

And since growth requires energy, the plant’s first priority is photosynthesis where magnesium comes into play in the formation of chlorophyll and phosphorus transfers the energy captured into making sugars out of carbon dioxide and water (CO₂ and H₂O). These sugars and higher by-products travel via the siliceous transport and containment system to wherever potassium, the electrolyte messenger, sends them.[3]

Some fertilisers apply in nearly all cases, while others should be used only as needed. In working out prescriptions based on soil tests, knowing this biochemical sequence helps us efficiently address shortages and imbalances in soils so we can grow refined, complex, value packed food.

Sulphur

Sulphur comes first as the catalyst for life chemistry. Depending on time and place, sulphur falls freely with the rain, but that does not necessarily mean that soils and plants won’t be hungry for it. Sulphur engages virtually every other element and somewhere in the vicinity of 50 parts per million (ppm) of soluble sulphur is desirable on soil tests.

Small amounts of sulphur are present in humates and vermiwash, and applying these tends to assure sulphur is biologically available. But if soil tests indicate soluble sulphur is inadequate it is a good idea to apply it as gypsum (aka calcium sulphate, plaster).

Especially in high organic matter soils, sulphur may be present at high levels in total tests and still not be especially soluble. Then what needs boosting is the sulphur process as it is present but inactive. The herbal biodynamic preparations, particularly the yarrow remedy, emphasize this sulphur process, and homoeopathic applications impart the processes associated with the substances rather than the substances themselves.

As sulphur works on the margins of leaves, it works more strongly in plants with deeply incised and highly ramified leaves. Herbs with finely cut leaves—such as certain legumes, thistles and umbellifers—concentrate and organize sulphur. These plants can be grown and harvested for mulch or composted for a sulphur rich vermiwash to improve the sulphur process where needed.

Sulphur, along with potassium, silicon and zinc as co-factors, prepares the way for life to launch its interplay with substance at the edges and boundaries where organization arises. The more extensive and interactive these boundaries are the more abundantly they give rise to life out of chaos—as boundaries are where syntropy[4] and entropy meet. Thus yarrow (Achillea millefolium) is a plant with an exceptionally strong sulphur process.

Bone Meal or Bone Ash

While calcium is of huge importance and occurs right after silicon in the biochemical sequence, it would be inappropriate to add it to optimum levels only to find there was no room for rock phosphate (calcium phosphate) or gypsum. Thus in fine tuning fertility the next thing to look at is phosphorous, as we know natural phosphorous inputs will also contain lime and silica.

As mentioned earlier, phosphorous is important for energy storage and release. It provides the energy bridge between silicon and calcium and is the transfer element for storing energy in the leaves as well as releasing energy from root exudates. Since nitrogen fixation heads the list of energy intensive processes in the soil, it is small wonder that many nitrogen fixing soil microbes also solubilize phosphorous to assure adequate energy release from root exudates in support of nitrogen fixation.

Since nitrogen requires a lot of energy to provide the basis of consciousness and motivation, the human brain is rich in phosphorous. This allows the brain to produce silicic acid in extremely fine dilution and direct it down nerve fibres to tense muscles. Then calcium and magnesium, along with the electrolytes potassium and sodium, are essential for the muscles to relax again, and thus phosphorous must be abundant in muscles for the release of muscular energy. Usually phosphorous is the missing link when muscles seize and cannot relax, and the same biodynamic preparation herb—valerian—is used for switching on the phosphorous process in the soil as well as for relieving cramps and muscle spasms in herbal medicine.

The occurrence of a red wine colour in petioles and leaf tips is an indication of insufficient available phosphorous, but seeing this symptom does not tell us how much P is actually in the soil or what should happen to make it available if it is present—hence the need for total tests in soil diagnosis.

Particularly on pastures where humification is tying up soluble phosphorous, soluble tests may only show a few ppm while an aqua regia (total) digest may reveal a thousand ppm or more. Although many soil organisms can release insoluble phosphates, plants may need to be sufficiently primed with soluble phosphorous to release enough bound energy to fuel microbial release of more phosphorous from reserves.

Of the major nutrients, phosphorous best shows the need for both soluble and total tests to see what is actually there. If phosphorous is plentiful in soil reserves we only need to prime the pump with a small amount of soluble phosphorous along with a food source such as vermiwash and/or molasses—and copper, zinc and manganese as co-factors—in order to start unlocking the reserves. Only when phosphorous is low in the total test should it be added in bulk, and once it is working robustly biological nitrogen fixation and potassium release tends to function smoothly.

Here is where either bone meal or home made bone ash extract can provide sufficient soluble phosphorous along with its co-factors to prime the pump so that phosphorous reserves are released. Bone meal may be available from large animal processors who steam clean bones and grind them up to sell as a dry product. Otherwise fresh bones from local abattoirs or eateries along with the occasional road kill can be cleaned up in the compost pile and then burned and crushed as bone ash.

Waste bones, including heads, may be available in quantities from abattoirs or processing facilities, and it may be more economical on a large scale to grind them up with a stump grinder or wood chipper and incorporate them into compost windrows instead of burning them. Sometimes knackers process carcasses by cooking the meat off them and then processing the bones.

Whatever the fashion bones are obtained it is a good idea to clean the flesh off them prior to burning to avoid waste and objectionable odours. Verily, bones should never be wasted, and phosphorous fertiliser production may require burning them.

Gardeners may find they can process left over bones through their wood heaters. In general, burned bones may come from almost any source, and some will burn more easily than others. Burnt bones can be crushed into powder and extracted with vinegar or other organic acids using moderate heat to yield soluble phosphates for liquid applications. If a little elemental sulphur is also needed, the vinegar stage is a good place to add small amounts as a percentage of the total dry matter.

This sort of crude phosphoric extract is useful diluted and combined with the vermiwash along with a homeopathic dose of biodynamic valerian preparation to jump start the phosphorous process. Residues from bone ash extraction can be added to composts up to about 8 or 10% of the total raw materials, or they can be dried and scattered thinly under fruit trees and flowering shrubs.

Liquid Digest Fish

This deserves mention if fish frames, scales and related wastes are available. Grinding up fish wastes and letting them ferment in water can yield an end product with an a very good balance between lime, silica and phosphorous along with enough nitrogen to jump start nitrogen fixation in the soil. However, this tends to be quite smelly in the early stages of digestion and needs some Effective Microbe (EM) culture to stabilize its nitrogen chemistry. Nevertheless well digested fish waste can supply all the ingredients needed for nitrogen fixation.

Humified Compost and Compost Extract

Misunderstandings about compost are rife as many imagine that compost is simply broken down organic matter that is ready to be taken up by plants. All too often composters seek to simply digest a mix of protein rich wastes, wood wastes, plant matter and manures with little or no concern for producing an end product that is insoluble but available. In fact, they may test the end product for soluble N, P and K using the assumption that higher soluble analysis is better. Unfortunately such NPK rich composts feed rampant bacterial flushes that grow better weeds than crops and pollute streams and groundwater with run off and leaching. If soluble N is high these products often reek of ammonia and other volatile amines.

In nature composting tends to be far wiser where materials are more scattered and have good contact with soil. Beneficial soil microbes gather up loose nutrients and tuck them away in high molecular weight clay/humus complexes like bees gather nectar and store honey. Actinomycetes and mycorrhizal fungi in particular store loose nutrients this way so they only become available to newly planted crops when root emergence and root exudation occur.

Often what we think of as weeds are nature’s back-up team to sop up loose nutrients when humification has not occurred. We can observe this loose nutrient condition in the first three or four weeks after ploughing down a green manure crop. Initially the bacterial breakdown of vegetation runs rampant, nutrients are released and if we plant before the humus builders take over we get a field of weeds that out competes whatever we plant.

In composting, especially in large piles or windrows, the initial breakdown phase runs rampant producing a lot of heat along with an abundance of simple sugars, amino acids and soluble salts. However, this sets the stage for organisms which clean up this heady brew, toning down the nutrients to non-toxic levels and quelling bacterial activity while storing nutrients in large organic clay/humus complexes that tie up amino acids and minerals in an insoluble but available state. It is these large, stable compounds—generally available to crop beneficial microbes—which provide the most beneficial forms of boron, silicon, calcium, nitrogen, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium, zinc and etc.

Most soils have remnants of these beneficial microbes that can be awakened using a humified food source—which is what compost should aim to be. It doesn’t take much to nurse theses beneficial remnants back, and awakening them primes the pump for further humus formation as root exudates feed more and more carbon into the soil. At some point re-enlivened soils become self-fertile and self sustaining with diversified cropping and abundant carbon capture.

Large Scale Humic and Fulvic Extracts

In the near term liquid extracts of humified composts can be of especial benefit to boost this recovery when used as liquid injects on top of seed at planting. Often in broadacre and pasture renovation, liquid inject formulas based on compost extracts can be the most economical way of feeding this all-important microbial population where it does the most good—on new roots as they emerge from seed. In garden and small farm applications this can be accomplished with vermiwash, and such liquid formulas can also be sprayed on stunted areas in pasture and broadacre paddocks.

Sometimes when we are dealing with grazing or broadacre where the scale is too large to address with on-farm composting it can be useful in the short term to buy humates in the form of activated brown coal solids or liquid humic and fulvic extracts. In general these inputs are excellent in rebuilding soil microbial life so the soils become self-sustaining. While these are a compromise with self-sufficiency they can be especially helpful when they incorporate necessary nutrients as determined by a combination of soluble and total soil tests. In this fashion progress toward self-sufficiency can be launched. After all, inputs that get us off the treadmill of future inputs are what we are looking for, no matter the scale of our operations.

Sea Minerals and ORMEs

Unless one lives on or near the ocean sea minerals may have to be bought rather than produced. Nevertheless they got to the sea by leaching from the land.

Only fully evaporated (aka macrobiotic) sea salt contains the fully array of minerals in sea water, as supermarket buyers overwhelmingly prefer free running salt. Thus the sodium chloride produced by evaporation of sea water[5], is all that is marketed, leaving behind a pot liquor that is dense and almost oily. These sea minerals are a waste product that usually can be obtained in bulk at reasonable prices. At rates from 1 to 5 litres per hectare per year, this bounty of the sea should never be wasted as it contains a well-balanced blend containing every element in the periodic table. Moreover, it contains ORMEs.

Orbitally Rearranged Mono-atomic Elements (ORMEs) occur when large numbers of atoms of certain elements align their electron orbitals so they resonate in unison as though they were single atoms. When this occurs they become superconductors and virtually weightless as well as being difficult to detect. Atomic physics has only begun to shed light on this ancient mystery in the last couple of decades even though allusions to these substances and their seemingly magical properties can be traced back to the priesthoods of ancient Egypt and Suma.

It is all too evident that many of the puzzling features of plants and animals clearly mimic the quantum behaviours of single atoms even though they are thought to involve huge collections of molecules. For example, how can photons impact a concentration of a billion or more chlorophyll molecules in a leaf and have virtually ALL of the photons transfer their energy into making sugar. Seemingly they must act in complete unison to achieve such near total efficiency. Also, how can a solution of zinc sulphate be detected at the tip of a very tall tree almost the instant it is poured on the soil at the tree’s roots?

Living organisms commonly exhibit behaviour at the gross level that was once thought possible only at the level of atomic particles. If large collections of atoms were to re-arrange their electrons so they all resonated in perfect alignment—as evidence suggests—then theoretically they can behave as single atoms no matter how many atoms they once were individually.

We see this sort of mono atomic behaviour with helium when we chill it close enough to absolute zero that all the electrons simultaneously share the same base state, but recent research indicates a similar phenomenon can occur with elements as complex as gold, platinum and iridium. Furthermore there are indications that sea water is ORME rich and ORME extracts can be obtained by raising the pH of sea water to 10.78 using sodium or potassium hydroxide.[6] This results in a heavy, white precipitate which can be separated from the original solution and used in agriculture with results that often seem startling, especially with leguminous crops such as lucerne and soybeans. Small quantities of ORMEs, on the order of 1 L/Hectare, are recommended per application with the understanding that this is something experimental that need not be difficult or expensive.

Calcium Nitrate and Molasses

Lastly, here is another formula that requires buying ingredients in the short term to achieve longer term goals. This is useful when planting in areas where tall, woody annual weeds, such as thistles, amaranths, ambrosias, etc. sprout prolifically. These weeds indicate soil imbalances of too much soluble potassium as compared to the available calcium. Shifting the equilibrium to favour calcium encourages clovers and other calcium and protein rich weeds such as daisies or nettles to take the place of the thistles and amaranths. This can be done when sowing—or even after weed emergence if conditions are dry—by boom spraying 2-5 kg of calcium nitrate along with 5-10 litres of molasses dissolved in 400 litres of water per hectare. A hectare is 10,000 square metres, so calculate your area and adjust the recipe accordingly. This amounts to a homeopathic dosage of approximately 3x potency, as this is barely enough calcium nitrate to flick a stick at. Yet the dynamic tends to shift beautifully and shut down the weeds.

Many organic certification programs do not allow the use of calcium nitrate, and at the conventional rates of 75 to 250 kg/ha this extremely salty fertiliser is far too harsh. However, most organic programs allow a wide variety of trace minerals to be added at considerable dilution in their soluble salt forms as long as soil and leaf tests indicate they are deficient, and it could be argued that this very dilute dosage falls safely within that range. Such light dilution will not harm the soil biology and merely adjusts the calcium/potassium balance so favourable species are encouraged and undesirable ones are discouraged.

Where We Stand

Lest we forget, modern society is fundamentally agrarian. Without agriculture modern society could not exist. Those things that are amiss in our culture, such as crime, disease and environmental destruction, have their roots in agricultural practices that stem from a belief in conflict rather than a cooperative view of nature—as though we had to wrest a living from the soil in some sort of a war with weather, pests, weeds, diseases and faltering fertility. The notion that killing solves our problems is illustrated by the Biblical story of Cain and Abel, and it is just as seductive and unwise today as ever. The wisdom of the ages teaches understanding as the path to forgiveness and forgiveness as the path to perfection.

The emergence of Chaos Theory and the discovery of the Butterfly Effect in the latter part of the 20^th century illustrate that even the tiniest of changes in a dynamic system, such as human society, can have profound consequences downstream. Among others, these two scientific advances dispensed with the Kant/La Place cosmology, whose bleak outlook assumed that only the evidence of our senses was real and the course of the universe once and for all was pre-determined.

As humans our awareness of our own awareness suggests we have the opportunity to become more than what we are. In short, we have free choice and our choices matter—which is something to keep in mind whilst being, doing, having and knowing higher consciousness.

Recipe for Potassium Silicate Watering Solution

1. Burn a large quantity of high silica plant matter and collect the ash. Any silica rich plant material will do. Rice hulls (not the bran) are brilliant and even bamboo ash works. Mill ash from burning sugar cane bagasse is available at some sugar mills at industrial prices and is rich in both potassium and silica.
2. In a 20 litre pot simmer 2 or 3 kilos of high silica ash with half a cup of solubor or boric acid in 15 litres of water while stirring for at least 30 minutes, If high quality ash is hard to obtain it may help to add a kilo of diatomaceous earth. Too much boron can cause burning in plants, so take care measuring.
3. After step two, allow the mixture to cool enough to safely strain and filter the lye-like solution.
4. While still warm, add a heaping tablespoon of biodynamic horn clay and potentize homoeopathically for at least three minutes.
5. Combine potassium silicate with vermiwash at a rate of 250 mls of potassium silicate per litre of vermiwash. Dilute this concentrate at least half and half with water (more is better) and apply to the soil in garden, orchard or vineyard as needed.
6. This formula can be overdone, so limit applications to a litre of combined solution per fortnight per plant with pumpkins, squash, sweet corn, cucumbers, capsicums, okra or anything with a tendency to get lush, weak, bug bitten or diseased. For tomatoes, which can be especially lush, the proportion of potassium silicate to vermiwash can be doubled or even quadrupled. Keep in mind these ingredients are all naturally occurring except solubor or boric acid, which are permissible in organic certification programs where boron deficiency is documented.
7. Residual ash should be recycled via compost/vermiwash production or incorporated into solid fertiliser blends such as humified composts and scattered on grain, pasture or hay land.

Notes: Australian recipes use the dried foliage of Australian she oaks or bull oaks, while In North America and Europe horsetail herb is preferred.

Generally potassium silicate/boron solution is watered in. When using foliars, keep in mind that as a foliar boron must get to the roots to produce sap pressure.

Boron and silicon have long been the least understood essentials in modern agriculture. Silicon has been ignored while everything that follows starting with calcium depends on it. Use boron/potassium silicate with vermiwash as a mainstay in almost any fertility program.

Boron and silica usually enter plants via actinomycetes and mycorrhizal fungi. These silica polarity organisms are delicate and easily damaged by salty NPK fertilisers. However, vermiwash and potassium silicate watering solution feed and strengthen these microbial symbiotes, which greatly increases nutrient uptake of boron, silicon, calcium, amino acid nitrogen and zinc.

The commonest deficiency in both agriculture and human nutrition is silica, which makes plants vulnerable to diseases, weeds and pests. Potassium Silicate Watering Solution ensures strong cell walls and transport vessels so plants are efficient and resilient. Silica also has a lot to do with photosynthesis, so this assures efficient photosynthesis and protoplasmic density while making plants tastier. Taste and the digestive/nutritive processes related to it play a central role in the nitrogen cycle. Potassium Silicate Watering Solution can be a big help with engaging nitrogen.

Vermiwash and Vermicompost

Also known as earthworm leachate, homemade vermiwash is most valuable as a food source for the beneficial microbes that activate our soil reserves and our various other inputs.

• Collect old bathtubs or similar tanks. Caulk screens in the drains and plumb them at a slight slant on blocks or on the edge of a low wall so that light watering drips into buckets placed under the drains.
• Set up these earthworm compost tanks with a mix of green/soft and brown/tough wastes along with 10% soil containing clay. Include any available manures, keeping in mind that from zebras to amoebas, everything that digests excretes. Include grit for earthworms, as they have no teeth. Instead they have gizzards to grind their food.
• Get as much compostable material as possible from one’s own locality to help nature work in an intelligent, co-ordinated way in regard to the nitrogen in the environment. Home gardeners may use shredded leaves, lawn clippings, kitchen wastes along with a few seasonings such as rock powders, bone meal, ashes, kelp if available, sea minerals and earthworms.
• Since different plants accumulate varying trace elements, vermiwash can be engineered to meet needs such as sulphur, zinc, phosphorous, copper, iron, etc. by using local weeds.
• To culture the microbes that can make your soil thrive, use your soil.
• To emphasize available nutrients use more manure and less clay or rock powder. This favours bacteria, protozoa and the small earthworms found in manure piles. This makes vermiwash rich in low molecular weight fulvic compounds which are more accessible.
• To emphasize insoluble but gradually available nutrients use more woody material such as shredded bark for an actinomycete, mycorrhizal humusy leachate characteristic of large earthworms. Increase the proportion of rock phosphate, clay and siliceous rock powders such as crushed basalt or granite
• Cover with a carbon rich lid that will attract life force but shed rain.
• Water with a litre or two of water each day to get the vermiwash.
• Fully digested material, perhaps with earthworms, can be removed for other uses such as potting plants or kicking off new tanks.
• Ideally biodynamic preparations should be included, perhaps as the versatile, easily applied biodynamic pre-mix.

[2] Chemists call carbon chemistry ‘organic’ chemistry even when this includes poisons. Yet, life as we know it is carbon based. Life processes require catalysts for reactions to occur. Typically heat and pressure make carbon, hydrogen and oxygen react, but sulphur is the key to carbon reactions where life processes are involved.

[3] This biochemical sequence of sulphur, boron, silicon, calcium, nitrogen, magnesium, phosphorous, carbon and potassium is the basis of plant growth.

[4] Syntropy is where available energy accumulates instead of dispersing as occurs with entropy. For more than a century it was fashionable to believe that all heat driven systems invariably ran down. Entropy was enshrined in what was called ‘The Second Law of Thermodynamics’. However, living organisms quite obviously both accumulate and disperse available energy. Thus they concentrate a stream of order on themselves and grow, even while running down. Only at death does entropy rule.

[5] At 90% evaporation most of the sodium chloride precipitates and the remaining pot liquor contains all the other elements in solution in the sea. Many of the functions of these elements are unknown, even though such elements as fluorine and caesium, which are abundant in sea water, are promising subjects for research. This pot liquor is referred to as sea minerals. Although beneficial results from use of sea minerals in agriculture are often easily seen, the mechanisms at work are too complex to be clear.

‘The Truth about Color Therapy’ was the title of a small book my father (Robert Moore 1919- 2011) wrote in the 1950s about how color can be used to heal the sick in mind, body and spirit.  Robert, known to his friends as Bob, spent a lifetime healing the sick using the natural therapies holistic approach and was a pioneer in the healing art of color therapy.

Color

Color, of course, is simply light broken up into various wavelengths with each color having its own wavelength.

Color Therapy is treatment by the use of color.  It has sometimes been called Chromo therapy or rarely, colorology or cromatherapy. It is more popularly known as Color Therapy however as that is easier to understand.

Color therapy has been applied in various ways and according to a number of different theories.  But all agree that colour can have an effect on the mind, body and spirit.  The old saying that red is for anger, green for envy and blue for sadness etc, do have a germ of truth hidden away.  Color can affect ones mood and emotion and even how one thinks to some degree.  Architects take great care when designing buildings, on the color used to ‘set the mood’ of the structure.   Color is seriously taken in retail stores to influence consumer choice and of course color plays a major part in advertising.

Color therapy origins and history

The treatment of disease by selecting various colours can be dated back to the early cultures of Egypt China and India.

According to Samina T. Yousuf Azeemi and S. Mohsin Raza of the Department of Physics, University of Baluchistan, Quetta, Pakistan, in their work, ‘A Critical Analysis of Chromotherapy and Its Scientific Evolution ‘, “Chromotherapy is a method of treatment that uses the visible spectrum (colors) of electromagnetic radiation to cure diseases. It is a centuries-old concept used successfully over the years to cure various diseases …”

Avicenna (980-1037) also discusses chromotherapy in The Canon of Medicine. And wrote that “Color is an observable symptom of disease.” He developed a chart that relates color to the temperature and physical condition of the body He discussed the properties of colors for healing and was known person to establish that the wrong color suggested for therapy would elicit no response in specific diseases. As an example, “he observed that a person with a nose bleed should not gaze at things of a brilliant red color and should not be exposed to red light because this would stimulate the sanguineous humour, whereas blue would soothe it and reduce blood flow.”

Others have indicated the healing properties of color including Robert Hunt a scientist from the United Kingdom, who wrote “Researches on Light in its chemical relations” in 1844 and described the influences on plant growth of selected applications of light.

The American Civil War General, Augustus Pleasonton, conducted his own experiments and published them in his book The Influence Of The Blue Ray Of The Sunlight And Of The Blue Color Of The Sky, published in 1876.  This demonstrated how the color blue can improve the growth of crops and livestock and also assist to heal diseases in humans.

From this originated chromotherapy or color therapy with other scientists such as Dr. S. Pancoast and Edwin Dwight Babbitt   taking up the banner and conducting experiments and publishing books such as “Blue and Red Light; or, Light and Its Rays as Medicine” by Dr. S. Pancoast in 1877 and “The Principles of Light and Color” in 1878 by Edwin Dwight Babbitt.

According to Mary Anderson, Colour Therapy, The Aquarian Press, 1986, “Dinshah P. Ghadiali a Hindu scientist discovered the scientific principles which explain why and how the different colored rays have various therapeutic effects on organisms. In 1933, after years of research, Ghadiali published “The Spectro Chromemetry Encyclopaedia”, a master work on color therapy. He stated that colors represent chemical potencies in higher octaves of vibration. And for each organism and system of the body there is a particular color that stimulates and another that inhibits the work of that organ or system. By knowing the action of the different colors upon the different organs and systems of the body, one can apply the correct color that will tend to balance the action of any organ or system that has become abnormal in its functioning or condition.^”

Color therapy treatment

In the book, ‘The Truth about Color Therapy’, the idea was to find the colour the patient needed to receive to start the healing process.  In practice the diagnostic tools such as Radiesthesia and Radionics were used to find out the color the patient needed.  A specially built ‘coil’ was used to direct the energy from the color to the patient.  This treatment would be applied 2 or three times a day for about 20 minutes.   The various hues and shades that could be used numbered in the hundreds and silk colors would be used.

Sometimes this was combined with homeopathic remedies to enhance the healing process and Radiesthesia and sometimes Radionics were used very successfully in the diagnosis and treatment.

Radiesthesia is the study of rays or radiation emitted by any animated or inanimate body. is used to refer to the study of rays. The idea is that all beings emit a fine radiation which can be measured with the appropriate equipment.  Dowsing and the use of the pendulum and even single handed rods are employed to detect the radiation.  Dowsing was once popular for the divination of water underground. Prior to modern techniques of oil discovery dowsing was often used to locate oil underground.

Radionics, however, is a more active approach as the use of blood, hair, a signature, or other substances obtained from the individual is used as a focus to heal a patient at a distance.  Radionics was originated by Albert Abrams (1864–1924), in the early 1900. As with alternative healing practices, modern science does not recognise Radiesthesia or Radionics.

Modern day color therapy tends to be more concerned with influencing the ‘chakras’ through the use of color on the basis that this will balance any energy imbalance causing the disease or problem the patient has.

The Chakras are considered to be several points of physical or spiritual energy in the human body according to yoga philosophy. The original meaning is Sanskrit cakra, literally, wheel.

Color therapy is used these days to influence the energy balance of these chakras and specific colours are used for this purpose.

Whereas in years ago a larger range of colors were used to influence the mind, body and spirit, nowadays a set of colours is used to This is primarily a spiritual activity rather than physical and colours are related to the various chakras.

Red to base chakra

Orange to sacral chakra

Yellow the solar plexus chakra

Green the heart chakra

Blue the throat chakra

indigo the brow chakra (often referred to as the ‘third eye’)

And violet the crown chakra.

Each of the spectrum colours is simply light of varying wavelengths, thus each colour has its own particular energy.

The energy relating to each of these spectrum colours resonates with the energy of each of the seven main chakras of the body.

If you can imagine the chakras/energy centres as a set of cogs/wheels, they are rather like the workings of a clock or an engine; each cog /wheel needs to move smoothly and at a similar speed for the clock/engine to work properly. Thus good health and well being is achieved by a balance of all these energies (or the smooth running of the cogs/wheels).

Colour therapy can help to re-balance these ‘wheels’ by applying the appropriate colour to the body and therefore re-balance our chakras. Listed below is each of the spectrum colours and the chakra which it relates to. Violet has the shortest wavelength and red the longest wavelength.

Colour Therapy aims to balance and enhance our body’s energy centres/chakras by using the seven colours of the light spectrum, which can help to stimulate our body’s own healing process.

Each of the seven main colours of the spectrum resonates with one of the main seven chakras.

It is quite possible to treat a wide range of health problems with Colour Therapy and the beauty of this treatment is its ease of use and efficiency for many minor health problems and how it can even be used in self-help situations.  Here are some examples:

A 31 year old personnel administrator suffered badly from jet lag. She was booked in for a treatment following a long-haul flight back from the Far East. She had a combination of three treatments designed for jet lag and was able to go to work as normal for the rest of the week with none of her usual problems – and her colleagues commented on how well she looked!

A 42-year-old accounts assistant had a bad case of conjunctivitis and thought a trip to her GP would be needed. She received a Colour Light eye treatment (Creation Impulse) and a cellular detox treatment (Anti-Toxin Rescue Remedy) and woke up the next day with her eyes completely cleared – no prescription needed.

A baby only a few weeks old, was screaming and crying with colic. Her frazzled parents called upon a friend who had a Colour Light torch desperate for help. Twenty minutes after a simple 3-point colic treatment in green in and around Sophie’s navel she was ‘sleeping like a baby’ and never had colic again.

A 36, musician and composer, suffered from insomnia. He came on a Colour Light Therapy introductory course for three days of learning and receiving treatments. He came back after the first day and told of his relief at being able to sleep all night for the first time in two years.

A retired nurse in her sixties had bad asthma and low self-confidence. She was also fearful about the coming winter as she suffered from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and would get quite down and depressed during the dark winter season. She visited a Colour Light Therapist regularly and although she didn’t have any particular in-depth series she had various different treatments every few weeks. A year later she is quite transformed; she has been able to stand up for herself in difficult family relationships and now has much more support from her mother. She reports that she feels happy, well and contented and can’t believe she’s already got through the winter without getting down at all and no sign of the SAD.

Colour is used more and more these days in the commercial world to manipulate emotions and moods and encourage more consumer spending but, sadly, colour therapy has not been greeting with as much enthusiasm as it should be by health practitioners, despite the success it has in the treatment of everyday diseases and health problems.  There is definitely some scope for an increase in healing by colour therapy

There’s so much junk on the web. You don’t know what is real or hype.

When I first saw photographs of the oddly shaped “Starchild skull” I thought there could be only two possibilities. It was either a skull from a deformed baby (since no adult could survive with such a distorted head) or it was an unfamiliar animal.

Of course, with a name like “Starchild” I immediately thought of the round headed, narrow jawed images of so-called “Grey Aliens” — made famous by Whitley Streiber’s book cover [right] on Communion. But that was a distant third possibility for sure. I figured that time, the scrutiny by anthropologists and advances in science would debunk this bit of “web legend”, much like the giant skeletons that were created in Photoshop [below, right] and touted by the Pravda News Service (Russia) as “real”.

But I was wrong.

Recent science has made analysis of DNA from ancient bone fragments a possibility and the initial results for this highly unusual skull have forced that third possibility — that it is extraterrestrial — to the front.

Of course, life is never simple. The analysis didn’t show that the Starchild skull was a space alien since the study of DNA is done by comparing new samples with old samples of genetic material. We don’t have any alien DNA of file. Instead, the results revealed that the Starchild had a distinctly human mother but a non-human father. In short, it was what scientists call a hybrid.

We’ll get to the complex science and a detailed analysis of the Starchild skull, but first lets get some obvious facts established.

The idea of a human-alien hybrid is a well established idea. The Bible, in Genesis 6:4 states:

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

More recent hybrid revelations are detailed in Zecharia Sitchin’s books, based on his translations of Sumerian scripts like the Atra Hasis and the Ennuma Elish, in which the ancient people describe how modern humans were created by mixing the genes of the “Gods” and primitive human ancestors to create a race of intelligent ancient workers. These “gods” were called the Anninuki and they allegedly came from another planet called Nibiru. Call it science fiction but this story is over 6000 years old!

While the Starchild skull is only 900 years old, its piculiarities suggest some ongoing interaction between our human race and an unknown species.

Background

The Starchild skull was found 80 years ago in a remote cave in Mexico. A teenage American girl from El Paso was visiting her family in the Copper Canyon region, about 100 miles south of Chihuahua, and discovered the remains of two individuals lying on their back, covered by just a few inches of dirt. One of the skeletons was small, like that of a child, and had a oddly shaped skull.

Because of the local customs concerning respect (and fear) for the dead, the young girl was afraid to tell the villagers about her discovery. She hid the two sets of skeletons in an ravine while she made plans to take them back to El Paso and donate them to her school for study.

Before she could move them, a torrential rain flooded the ravine and washed the bones away. Two days later she found the skulls and some of the other bones but they had been damaged and broken by tumbling in the flash flood along with the mud and stones. The oddly shaped skull had lost its lower jaw completely [above] and half of the upper jaw was missing. The other skull had lost only its lower jaw bone.

The girl managed to sneak both skulls back to her home in El Paso and kept them for the duration of her life as souvenirs of her visit to Mexico. She had given no special significance to the oddly shaped skull, thinking it was a natural deformity of some kind.

In the 1990s, when the girl passed away, the skulls came into the possession of Ray and Melanie Young, also from El Paso. Coincidentally, Melanie had been a neonatal nurse and was familiar with many natural deformities. She quickly recognized that both the number and type of anomalies appearing on the deformed skull were not the result of any known pathological condition.

The Youngs sought expert help with an analysis of the skulls and were referred to Lloyd Pye, who had the means and contacts to perform various tests on these two artifacts.

Step One: X-Rays

Lloyd first arranged for both skulls to be x-rayed. This revealed that the portion of the upper jaw of the deformed skull had several impacted teeth (showing up at the 5 dark globs in the x-ray image [above right] and suggested that the skull belonged to an individual who died at about 5 or 6 years old.

The next obvious anomoly was the frontal sinus regions. The human skull [abov: left and center] showed typical frontal sinuses between the eye sockets. The deformed skull had no trace of frontal sinuses, not even vestigial bumps indicating where its sinuses might have attempted to grow. This is considered extremely unusual. Considered vital for screening dust and particles from reaching the lungs, only about 5% of humans are born without frontal sinuses.

Meanwhile, the second skull was shown to have been from an adult woman and exhibited the classic flat shape of “cradle-boarding.” This ancient practice consisted of binding an infant’s head against a board so that the shape of the skull would be elongated. It is still practiced in some African and Sourh American cultures and is thought to make the child appear more like deity.Whether “natural” or artificially shaped, the royal family of Egypt, who were considered deities, exhibited the same elongated heads as far back as the second millennium BCE. Pictured here [below A]is Nefertiti, wife of the Egyptian Pharaoh Amenhotep IV (later Akhenaten), and mother-in-law of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun. Many fine examples of artificially deformed, “bound” [bottom, B] or “boarded” [bottom, C] skulls have been recovered from Mexico and Peru.

So, was the Starchild cradle boarded?

Both skulls have been carbon-14 dated to 900 BCE. This was an era during which cradle-boarding was apparently in vogue for Central and South American Indians. Since both individuals in the cave were contemporaries, it might well be assumed that the Starchild’s deformities were from this same practice. However, upon examining the skulls we note that there are some problems with this theory.

Usually an infant was bound by string or fabric to a board with the head facing forward, the angle of sight horizontal and the neck slightly hyper-flexed (raised) to make breathing easy and unobstructed. We see this in the position of the flat area of the human skull [below, left]. But if we rotate the Starchild’s skull to align with the flat area of the skull we see that the eyes look down and, more importantly, the neck is tilted in such a way that the airway would be blocked.

Although there does appear to be a somewhat flat surface at the rear of the Starchild’s skull, a close examination reveals it to be natural with many undulating features not normally seen in a cradle boarded skull.

The brain capacity of Starchild is estimated to be 1600 cubic centemeters — a good 200 cm more than a human. So was Starchild more intelligent?

When most people feel under stress they often say, “It feels like the weight of the world is on my shoulders.” It is a very common phrase used amongst English speaking nations. But behind this one phrase is a quintessential truth, because when one is on a path to self-transformation they realize that the weight of the world is truly on their shoulders, so it is up to them to change it. Yet this whole phenomenon of being the change has become confusing to many and in some cases a smell of pollution surrounds this so called change. At this moment and throughout time we have seen large groups of people around the world in rebellion against external forces. The problem with a lot of these rebellions is that most of them are based on an “us against them” mentality, which implies a lack of wisdom as to what the nature of reality is. On the other side of the spectrum we have a large internal awakening occurring around the planet, where major portions of this energetic change have been hijacked and are shrouded in ego to line the pockets of a few with plenty of money. Thus both external and internal are in chaos with one another. We need to find common ground because the weight of this world is becoming unbearable. Somehow we need to find the balance to this weight.

In our present day the weight of the world is not a physical disability, but instead it is psychic in nature. Almost everything we visualize in our external world stems from our collective psychic illness. Buddha once said, “We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world.” This piece of wisdom rings true when one understands the total functions of the mind. One of the innermost fundamental principles of consciousness is that everything in our world either on a personal or collective level is a deep mental projection. So what we create in our reality is either from conscious concentration or it is from a darker emotion suppressed within the human psyche. This is very important to understand especially at this moment in time, because even though some people out there are consciously manifesting reality, most of these people still haven’t addressed the darker content in their own lives, and hence we all contribute to a collective disease. All of this comes back to the psychic dance between the ego and the self. This dance can truly seduce the most ardent believer. A lot of people on Earth at the moment believe they are in true rebellion against the banking cartel, corporate structure and corrupt governments, with the belief they are creating a better world. The seduction here is that this rebellion is only a projection of our ego. The ego does this to keep anyone from having true eternal rebellion. Since the ego is the totality of the mind at present, it will do whatever it has to do from letting you go inwardly and finally dealing with those darker emotions suppressed within the shadow-self. So because of this, what is happening now is the ego is disguising itself under a false projection of a better world to further its own existence and to keep us from the true journey.

In our present day many activists, movements and rebellious groups are rising to the surface, but none of this is new. We have always had opposition to the status quo, but never any lasting change. For thousands of years we have been in external conflict with no true results. This is because we choose not to shine the light within where true freedom resides, so we persist with rearranging the chess pieces in the world we see. So it is with our illusory belief that we can change the external chess pieces that our illness is sustained. Herein lays the problem behind all movements and revolutions, because we believe to heal this world we need to rearrange the external world. If this is the basis then all movements and revolutions are fundamentally flawed. Sure a new movement may look more pleasant to the eye, but if the same collective and individual psychological state is going into the new world then our sickness will still plague us. In the end it should not be a debate about what certain benefits or external relief we will have from any particular movement, because the only issue that should be of our concern is what truly drives any of these movements or revolutions deep within us?

Built into the public’s state of consciousness is an unnatural desire for material comforts. Everybody is seeking some form of comforting relief in the external world. This is because within the majorities current state of consciousness there is an inbuilt function of escape which is mixed with our natural desire for freedom. So what we get is, we have a constant search for freedom based on material comfortability. In our modern age every movement and revolutions ideologies are grounded in external welfare through comforts and not internal well-being. Most movements and revolutions believe that if we have the access to the necessities of life served up on a platter, then internal peace will be born. Can this be true? The sad answer is no, inner peace will never be found in this way for two reasons. First reason being that most of these modern day movements and revolutions are in pursuit of a high technological civilization with the aid of material comforts to keep us solidly grounded in the external world, with the chance of no internal inquiry into the nature of our existence. So these sorts of movements will only benefit the ego which brings us to our second reason. The other reason being that the nature of our existence is not found out in the external world, because the true nature of our existence is consciousness. So the external world is the out-breath of our true nature which is within us. Instead of creating a revolution in the external world to point the blame at external forces, we need to have the only true revolution which is within us all. This needs to be understood now before we get too lost on our journey through life, because when we come back to the question of what truly drives any of these movements or revolutions deep within us, the answer we cannot shy away from is the ego. Why?

Everything that drives these movements and revolutions is the ego because the ego is like a spoiled child wanting external relief through momentary satisfaction while never dealing with the problem at hand. So they go from new toy to new toy with no true and lasting satisfaction. It is in the nature of the ego to escape from any situation no matter how absurd. This constant escape through life keeps one looking without instead of within. Through this escape all external movements and revolutions are born. I call this “Mental Systemic Escape” because they cannot deal with a system which in truth is actually a mental projection of our individual darker emotions. This is the physical evidence that the ego has once again duped us into believing that any new movement or revolution is our salvation. The corrupt system which we all live under is not something to escape from, instead it is there to be dealt with and then dissolved, but this will only happen if we look within to see where this world comes from. When we look within we see it is the mirror reflecting our darkest emotions held within our shadow psyche and which is guarded by the ever evasive ego.

We can see now that no movement or revolution rooted in the external world can ever bear the weight of this world. Some may say that what if we live in a world without money, surely that must be a big step? And I’m sure it couldn’t hurt and it would be a big step for a while, but once again it would only be momentary. The reason for this comes back to the individual, because if the individual’s consciousness has not evolved past the dark content in their own lives, then the ego’s view of personal gain and separation will corrupt any utopia no matter how pure it may appear. No movement or revolution we join could ever bear the weight of this world, because literally the true weight of the world is on your shoulders. When we truly feel this weight, we know we can never escape a system which is nothing but a suppressed projection of the mind. We need to go beyond the mind/ego to find out what is eternal and not momentary and then and only then will the mind be purified. After this purification a truthful movement will reflect our inner peace and well-being. When this is finally realized the weight upon your shoulders will not feel so heavy because the true revolution has been born within you.
